Synopsis

Albert is the archistar who conceived the incredible design of the Thousand Tower, a 1,000-meter-tall skyscraper that is extraordinary in form and technical features. Eric is the owner of the real estate group proposing the project in an ideas competition sponsored by the world’s wealthiest investors. Roan runs the catering company that organizes the luncheon at the project’s presentation event.
An instant passion arises between Albert and Roan. Due to a misunderstanding that Albert does not clear up, Roan believes that Albert works as a meeting planner. When Roan expresses her desire to have the man she loves by her side, Albert promises to always be there.
The Investors’ Select Committee chooses Thousand Tower and requires Eric and Albert to start construction immediately. Albert leaves without being able to notify Roan. Only after several days does Roan see a news report on TV and find out where Albert is and what his real job is.
Under the direction of the strong-willed and militaristic site manager Nap Kilgore, work begins apace while Eric and Albert, with the cooperation of the comely Savannah, public relations officer, take care of the project and general organization, as well as investor relations. Because of the investors’ dissatisfaction with the quality of the catering, Roan is called in to manage the official lunches and food service.
Work has to be stopped due to an unforeseen water table. Eric is worried because every day of delay on the delivery of the skyscraper results in a very high penalty. Nap manages to make up for it and work resumes.
Albert tries to reconnect with Roan; Roan is annoyed by Savannah’s confidential ways toward Albert.
The discovery of a gold seam and then an oil field prompts workers to leave the site. Eric again succeeds in hiring more workers but the delay on the delivery schedule seems inevitable as well as the bankruptcy of the group because of the stratospheric penalty.
Albert asks Roan to summon his brother Chase, a lawyer with no clients, to see if there are glimmers in the contract that could save the day. Chase coordinates reading the thousands of pages of the contract and finds the loophole that convinces all the workers to return to work.
Under Nap’s unflinching direction, work resumes at full speed. Even the canteen run by Roan is again crowded with workers. Albert gets a chance to help Roan solve a problem with supplies. The mood between them becomes good again.
The big day finally arrives. Albert and Roan look from a distance at the completed Thousand Tower and swear eternal love to each other as the skyscraper but the unexpected is around the corner and the skyscraper turns out to be less stable than expected.
